First time back at Shrewsbury parkrun for some weeks and a new pb - 23m23s, and 5th in my age group. Only 3 seconds off my previous pb but 3s is 3s! Made me smile when the result came through.

The sound of my son's voice when the keys he dropped down the storm drain were recovered and the remote still worked on the car.

I went to Brixton Academy tonight, a favorite venue, to see Noel Gallagher. He had Johnny Marr and Paul Weller join him.

When he finished the night with Don't Look Back In Anger I don't think I've ever heard a crowd sing along so vociferously.

The first time I saw Oasis live was when they played a showcase to the staff in the canteen where I worked (Sony Music). We'd just signed them.

He always was the talented one of the pair.

I'm jealous LPH. 2 of my favourite artists there.

Lunch outside with my colleagues in the sunshine. May only be a small smile but it was a lovely day, it's likely to be raining tomorrow, most of them will be shirking from home tomorrow, and it's my last day on this contract tomorrow. So, long way round of saying it was a farewell outdoor lunch with the mad bunch of people here.

Pretty much finished handing everything over now so it's just a final run through of the Friday reports tomorrow to make sure the others have understood it all and I'm out of the door.

Looking forward to a few weeks off now which also brings on a smile, only tempered by a wonder of where I'll end up next.

Seeing the munchkin very happy. The amount of stuff we managed to squeeze into the car was ridiculous but she's now settled into her new digs in Brighton and ready for her second year at uni.
