Default Home - Work - Home

Since having my bike I've noticed a problem, 1 reason I wanted to get a bike was to cut travel time to work and back, though this half works at the moment.

My problem is that when I had my car it used to take:
20min to Work in the morning
40min to get home after work

But now that I have my bike it takes:
10min to get to work in the morning
2hrs + to get home after work

Anyone else have this problem after getting a bike? Just wondering

lol, yes its part of the fun. I found myself on Saturday morning at 6.10am riding on a 'detour' home......after a 12 hour nightshift......most enjoyable, if a tad cold, and the sun coming up was lurverly

I've not had that affliction yet, but I imagine as the weather becomes nicer I may find my journey's home taking a little longer. lol

No. never had that problem. Always to date, taken me, 25 mins to get in, and about 30-40 mins to get home. Joys of riding in london, by the time i get to anywhere half decent, i cant be bothered. I save that riding for weekends, and the occasional evening blat in the summer with mates.

Kinda... but I go a more fun route home that only takes an extra 5 minutes.

Still ends up being home before I would've been in the car!

Yup I find the best time is coming home from a night**** at 6am the roads are quite as the weather improves I will be doing that, get 1-2 hour ride in, enough time to sleep and still have time left before returing to work!

Yeah, 40 mins to work in the car and probably the same home depending on what time I'm travelling.
Today was first gingerly ride to work this week since the weekend, but loved the ride home

Never had that problem. Riding in london is fun, but only if you have to ride. I wont go out of my way to extend the length of my ride home, I'm just happy to get back alive and in one peice!
