Big thanks to all those who organised it I had a great time, the sight of all those bikes was top. Great route and I'm glad it was incident free although I'm still not too keen on horses......

Cheers to John, Ed and Daryl for letting me ride down with them in the morning and part of the way home. Daryl was that you in the petrol station I rode past after I had turned off onto the A46? It looked like you.

And I’m very impressed that Rictus was there after reading what happened to him

Just to add my note of thanks too, sorry I had to duck out early (got as far as chipping camden) as I had to be back mid-afternoon and we were going a bit slower than I thought - albeit for understandable reasons with that many riders of differing abilities.

The sound at the little chef when we all we idling waiting for the off was something to remember - anyone capture that on a video/sound clip?

Nice to put some names to faces, too!

BH how fast do you ride ordinarily then??? I couldn't keep up, I was w-a-a-a-a-y behind at the back. The pace was too fast for me, TBH.

Just want to add my thanks to the bunch, Thanks to Jelster for organizing.
Thanks to Baldyman and his bike bitch, I know he was complaining only a little bit about how he never managed to get above 60 MPH. I hit 110!! at times.

Trust me, he made up for the lack of speed on the short journey home!

The bridge... what can I say, third time I have taken it in a week, and this time I really hit it, I had a plan, lay off and wind it on.. got so high I managed to tell the weather gods to hold the rain off for half a day!

Nice to meet some people, Jimbo, Shutdown, Anne and Rich oh and Sig and E.D, and Carsick...
Didn't really get around the group as was too scared!!!

Can't wait til the next ride out, was my first BIG ride out with a large group, and hope my riding didn't offend anyone.

Those bloody horses!! the second ones, belted across the road in front of me.. What I couldn't understand is why they weren't in the bloody fields!!

Til next time.

Martin
