Default snapped engine case bolt

just installed my pro bolt alloy engine case kit and on the very last bolt i snapped the head off

whats the best way to remove the bit ot the bolt thats left in?

its broke about 5mm under the head of the bolt if that helps

Nice. I dont know quite how you'd get to that, the only thing I could suggest is a drill!

If you take the casing off again, how much stud is left? Enough to grab with a proper extractor?

is it ok to just remove all the case?

Which side is it?
I don't see that you have a choice in the matter, it's just a matter of how much oil is going to come out and make sure you put it back in after you've put the case back on.

Do not Drill it remove the casing and hopefully you will be able to undo it easily as it will not have seized in tight the thread should still be lose. Always use a torque wrench when fitting these type of bolts

If you remove the case you should be able to get at the remainder of the stud, try removing this ( if it doesnt move with hand pressure try mole grips )

Drilling it should be the last resort ( but you should be ok as long as it was the head of the hex/cap head shearing off against the case, not the bolt bottoming out in the hole )

If you cant get at with mole grips, then you will need to drill it and remove it with eazyouts.
