Always a bit of a wake up to the difference between being fast on the road and on the track when you and your IL4 sporty bikes gets conclusively toasted by an archaic commuter!

Oh yes it does.

Go Inters! I've never seen you ride, but if you walk the walk, even just a little bit, you'll be fine. Taking it you know Silverstone well then?

Try and watch as many Youtube videos as you can of people in the Advance group to pick up some lines. Certainly helps, if you've never been on track.

Oh no it doesnt everyones got to start somewhere. Better to do it in the relative safety of novices (you can always move up when you feel ready) rather than the sometimes erratic inters. If you're not used to how some of the inter brigade ride on track you might find it a bit daunting. Like Laurie said, its not unheard of for fast road riders to become completely lost when they get out on track.

Besides, its fun being a big fish in a small pond for a while

I rode in novices at Anglesey and I've never been happier. It's a massive boost of confidence as you fly past 75% of everyone on track.

If your quick on the road go novice for the extra space. Inters tend to get closer to one another mid corner etc

If your waaaaay to quick. They will move you up.

O and grab an instructor for at least one session!

You're clearly someone with too much top speed and not enough lean angle.

Maybe. I have to wear dresses to give the third leg space.

You guys should come to Snetterton on the 16th August instead? Myself and Speirs are looking at booking soon.
