Not seen one like that before Johnny. I may send it up, not sure. It seems ok at the moment but I need to let it sit overnight. I also (fingers crossed) got the Dial 35-2 working! I hosed out the gearbox out with brake cleaner, and have it a squirt of rubber and nylon lube. No sound on the clip due to random background noise.

I put an order in yesterday for a Panasonic Lumix G1 m4/3. Hoping Hermes don't throw it over the gate and follow the instructions to deliver it to the shop under the flat. I also have an m4/3 to M42 adapter coming to test as I want to try out the Helios 44 lens.

Nice one! I think you'll get good results from the Helios.
Reading the reviews, the Panasonic looks a good camera. You'll see the plus points of the EVF too.

I did lots of reading and I had considered the Sony Nex 3 or 5 and the Lens but there was no evf. I also looked at the G10 but it didn't have a tilt screen and the evf is not as good. I couldn't imagine holding the camera up like a point and shoot compact while trying to focus so the G1 ticked the boxes. Just need an OM, Pentax and an Minolta adapter.

Know what you mean about the adapters. I went for the OM because it's the brand I have most of the lower focal lengths in. Which adapter did you order just out of interest? I went for this one; snug fit, metal and quite sturdy.

I'll be interested to hear what you think of it and to see the results. I've played around with mine inside for close up and macro but haven't gone outside with it yet. I imagine getting the manual focus right at distance without the split screen or ground glass in the viewfinder will be more of a challenge.

Will do, just hoping everything runs smoothly with the delivery. I usually have problems when having stuff sent here, I would have it sent to work but we only do until half 12 on Saturdays and I don't want to miss it.
