Default Gm 2014

As I had a 'sudden' change of plan thanks to a moment of 'I can't believe its not butter' on the road. Myself and Pegasus were delayed and found our way to the GM in the car, in the dark. Unfortunately Kitty the V Raptor is licking her wounds after an extremely large amount of diesel was dumped on the exit of a roundabout, giving a great many vehicles imaginary punctures and handling issues. Glencoe is quite eerie and yet magical at the same time lit by the moon, something we wouldn't have experienced on the bikes.

We hadn't planned to do the GM route anyway, as we had our own little romantic agenda to find hidden castles and houses. However we had planned to take photos at certain points of the riders and their rides if we could co-ordinate time. We found having the car, actually gave us more advantage for this, as our little castles were quite bike unfriendly to find.

We had the opportunity to give the Hogwarts Express a run for its money and take photos of it at the same time, beating it to the masses of tourists waiting for it to steam down the Glenfinnan viaduct. This was the perfect place for catching the SV peeps flying past, trying in vain to catch Chucca! We had a quick tour of Lochailort House, and the sun came out for a mini adventure to explore the ruined castle of Tioram. An absolutely gorgeous little ruin, sat in a hidden inlet of Loch Moidart.
Leaving there on a wiggly single track road, we picked up a hitchhiker called Peter from the Czech Republic. A student who had come over to walk the hills of Scotland... He was shocked someone was kind enough to pull over, but was quite tongue tied when Pegasus asked him if he had any guns, knives or was a mass murderer! We dropped him off at Corran Ferry, our next destination. Somehow, and I really can't believe it, we managed to beat the GM peeps to there, and managed to board with all of them together. This is where we waved our goodbyes for the rest of the afternoon as we went off in search of Haggis

Pics now all uploaded in following posts.

Cabins, and lovely they were too! No midgies at this point, they appeared to be giving us a false sense of security.

If you go down the woods today, be sure of an Electro surprise

Pretty miserable conditions at this point. Waiting for the bikes to arrive, it was a bit ...... ...... .... moist!

Stalker Castle

Tired, and apparently miserable looking people.

Better remedy that then.....

Id say it had been a Motorhead type of weekend!
