2015 Yamaha R1 launch
Anyone else watch this online?
Not to sure about the looks but the performance and electronic wizadry sound impressive 200bhp, 190KG fully wet Mangnesium bits and bobs Then there is the R1M which has electronic suspension, Ohlins and telelmetry you can control from your phone. Impressive stuff, just not sure about the looks. More pics here http://www.asphaltandrubber.com/bike...a-yzf-r1-leak/

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1 launch
I like it! I think. Or maybe not. Something a bit different.. maybe?
Kinda like the panigale. Seems everythings going sharper, all the more reason to get a (slightly) smoother triumph. |

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1 launch
Most people on the Reddit thread for the live stream had rather distasteful opinions of the new nose styling, I'm a bit impartial on it just yet.
I've seen no concerns of if those headlights are going to actually illuminate anything. |

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1 launch
I think the front end looks good, it's a break from the norm and they've tried to make it look as much like their moto gp bike as they could.
What I don't like is the side of it. It almost looks half faired there is so much fairing missing.

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1 launch
The white nose cone spoils the look.
The black silver scheam looks better. RIM??? Lol

Nice bike spoilt by an ugly exhaust.

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1 launch
cant help think there is a number missing on the nose ( 46 ) or the space is for a front number plate. The paint scheme looks a bit retro to me but I cant really talk about colours

Re: 2015 Yamaha R1 launch
Doesn't everyone replace those anyway? I don't see much point in spending money on making that look good when it's usually the first thing to get ripped off.
