what are you training up to be? Do they still train you up to get a job on civvy street?

You can choose a course to do as part of resettlement might do my SIA so I can throw ****heads out of pubs! Although I'm flexible if I can't get something in telecoms engineering, I have every driving licence so a few choices there and if all else fails there is always the filth!

You might want to ask at work about the possibility of getting into BT, think it'd be easier at your end, all my managers are useless.

Waiting for a reply on a an application for Radio Operator on an Offshore Rig off Great Yarmouth. But gonna email BT myself and see what happens.

Worth a try, I can get you the details of how to apply the civvy route but that's iffy at best, depends on what they're doing at the time you leave.
