Kawasaki Versys opinions?
Hi all
Any one had a Kawasaki versus 650 , thinking of getting one for commuting 64 miles a day to work , most a/ b roads , its a 2013 bike with fitted panniers , like the upright ridding style , any feed back would be great Thanks |

kawasaki versys ?
Rictus swears by them. I have a Vstrom and commute only slightly less miles. I get, on average, 70mpg commuting and it can go right down to 46mpg if I thrash it.

Re: kawasaki versys ?
I got one the last half of last year for an 80mile commute great bike loved it. Not going to set your pants on fire but handles well, and good protection/comfort, if you get a set of hand guards they made a big difference. Can't think of anything that annoyed me about it.

Re: kawasaki versys ?
When I was learning another instructor was using one, had done 50k+ with no bother at all. I learnt on an er6f which was a good bike, although a lot more vibey than the sv.

Re: Kawasaki Versys opinions?
It's what our tour leader rides 7 hours a day 6 days a week in Thailand. Tough often poor roads in the country and the chugging crazy filtering in the cities but he swears by his one. It's as good a recommendation as you'll get.
