Default Leather repairs

Anyone know of a motorcycle leather repair place in Mid Wales/borders/Shropshire sort of area? Need to get the joining zip on my leathers replaced pretty swiftly!

Only place I know is Joyda Racing Leathers in Hindley near Wigan.

Very good, but not so close to you.

Thanks for that Pete but I'm looking for somewhere a bit closer if possible, so I can drive there and deliver/collect them.

OK sorted now. There's a woman up in Moulton in Cheshire who's going to do it. I shall be taking the leathers up there on Saturday. If the weather is ok I'll put the old leathers back on and ride up there or in the car if the weather is bad.

Anybody up that way fancy meeting up while I'm there and showing me where to get a decent cup of coffee or tea?

Ah thanks for that Ed. I'm sorted now but I'll make a note of that for the future.

@Claire - The woman who's doing them for me is the wife of the owner of Cheshire Motorcycles. She's been doing leather repairs and alterations for some time and they added it to the list of services provided by the m/c business.

Sorry, haven't been on here for a bit. It is the same place I think. She does do a brilliant job & at a fair price too.

Yep, that's the place! I believe they are in the process of moving to new premises at the moment so I'm apparently to go to their house to get the zip done. Looking forward to the ride up and meeting them now!

Arrived, dropped off the leathers and I'm now sitting in the Little Chef at Middlewich with a coffee, an all day breakfast and a free wifi connection. Chickened out of coming here on the bike as it's still blowing a gale at home and peeing with rain, so the car it was with the heater on and my newly discovered Nokia GPS to guide me here!
