Default Simmi exhaust fitted finally

Finally got round to putting an aftermarket can on the curvy. Got a Simmi performance 400mm round stainless can for £115 inc link pipe and hanger strap.

I cable tied the footpeg out the way and put a bit of tape here and there to protect swing arm and footpeg from the saw. Measured and cut 50mm up from the weld. Fitted in around 20 minutes including cutting off the old rocket launcher with a hack saw and decent irwin cobalt blades and the use of one younger brother who has skills in moving his arm back and forth quickly

Whoops slipped with saw a little, tape would have helped D'oh

Do it properly little bro im watching (sat on my azz drinking tea and eating his biscuits)

Success yay and also needed a mini hacksaw and that yellow handled thing in the picture below as it got awkward towards the end to get the saw in.

Then carefully dispose of the old one

Then when bike has no pipe on run the engine to help blow out any muck that might of fallen into pipe and rev and rev and giggle like a little girl

Then fit link pipe, which was so good a fit that it needed no sealant (thanks geff at simmi you're a real craftsman) but needed a little bit of washing up liquid to help it into place. Pop the can on also perfect fit, then line everything up right. Slip in the hanger bracket and slid it down the can into place with out touching the shiney shiney kind of like playing that game with the wire, hoop and buzzer tighten it all up and rev for a sound and leak test.

Then go out and play with your loverly sounding bike and giggle like a girl some more

Ps the baffle may have fallen out all by itself honest and yes the bikes a bit mucky but its for fun not hanging in an art gallery

Oh and ta for talking me into getting one (for the last 3 years haha) and fitting it Bro
