Curvy - Whats it worth?

Afternoon Folks.

As title, I'm thinking of getting rid of my SV as it just doesnt get used enough, since I bought an Aprilia RSV Mille about 18 months ago.
Its been sat in the garage, having only done about 400 miles since its MOT last August, and thats just a shame and a waste!

As shown in the pictures, its a 2001 (Y) Curvy SV650S in Pearl Lively Yellow.
Black Lowers (tatty, spray canned, no 'air scoops')
Seat cowl (also pillion seat and grab rail)
Givi rack
Carbon effect, no baffle can (also Remux Grand Prix can for MOT)
24200 miles, MOT till mid August and 4 months tax.

Apart from the lowers, its a tidy enough bike for its age, but does suffer from the usual corroded fork paint, and furry fasteners, but it rides great, always starting first time on the button (has a CBR reg/rec fitted)

Its never been dropped or slung down the road so far as i'm aware.
It is in desperate need of a brake service (did 100 miles yesterday, and the brakes are shocking!), and is due a valve clearance check, but I just dont have the time to spend on it.
It has good tyres (less than 1000 miles) and had the oil and filter changed for last MOT (400 miles) but no real Service history to speak of.

As well as the pillion seat, grab rail and replacement can, would also come with a carbon effect hugger and front fender extender, spare front calipers & lines, and the Haynes manual.

Having looked around, prices seem to vary quite a bit, so I thought i'd ask the Org for your advice, so any ideas on its value would be appreciated.

With the short MOT I would imagine around the grand mark, although it is a sellers market at the moment now that the summer is here. As you say though, curvy prices do seem to vary dramatically.

I would definitely try and sort the brakes before sale if you can as no one wants to but a bike with dodgy ones.

Maybe take the Givi rack off and sell seperately too.

My point about varying prices perfectly illustrated!!

I'll spend the hour or so sorting the brakes, and get it up for sale around the £850 ono mark i reckon.

No offence intended to Biker Biggles, but I think £500 is on the harsh side.

May be worth taking the lowers off the bike too if they're a bit tatty as will detract from the overall appearance.

A couple of hours spent with some Autosol and elbow grease can get the fork lowers looking presentable. If the exhaust down pipes are grubby do them too.

Little things like that may only be cosmetic, but can add a couple of hundred quid in value.
