I just came back from my 4 mile run. I'm not going to say what pace I ran But after my unforseen 10 mile run yesterday I was surprised at the pace I acheived. Rest* day tomorrow. *actually I'll be chucking furniture all round the house all on my own as the carpet fitters will be there fitting carpets in all the rooms. |

Re: The running thread!
just cracked 2.95km in 20min, way better than when i started also lost a fair bit of weight in the last 5/6 weeks from 110kg to 106.4kg still not really seeing the benefit as in reduced size apart from my legs are a bit more lean

Re: The running thread!
Barwel - You probably won't notice it mate, not until someone who hasn't seen you for a couple of months says something like "have you lost weight?"...and they will!
I never noticed the weight loss as I was looking every day, everyone else noticed. I'm still a fat git though! |

Re: The running thread!
Did a 2hr LSR tonight (winding the length down as less than 2 weeks to marathon day), 2nd hour in the rain. As it was a bit chilly I put a string type runnin vest on underneath my long sleeve T. It was good from the point of view of helping me keep dryish and slightly warm, however the other T on top caused it to rub a little, jogger's nipple anyone?
