sounds pretty standard.
The best advice i was given is "when the fuel light blinks think about getting fuel" "when the fuel light stays on ....do nothing but get fuel" I've stuck to that and not run out of fuell yet. Thankfully

Best not to let it run that low anyway, thats when you start getting water in the fuel etc and will cause running problems.

30 miles with the light blinking at you. Once its on there is less than 10 in there.
It you had the light flashing at you and only did 10 miles i'd have the system looked at. |

I dont think it was fuel now.
Might be water getting in as it did it to me twice after starting the bike up cold after last being used in the rain and did it to me last night 10 miles into my 15 mile trip I've been told a fender extender will sort it and have fitted one. |

I somehow got 46 miles out of my tank form start of flashing, probably could have got about another 5-6 miles i reckon. In total, 186 miles on a tank is pretty good going!! 15.6L in a 16L tank
