Re: tutoro chain oiler
Mine is hidden quite well, just at the back of the right rearset. You can just about make it out and the pipe (im using red oil) is attatched to the underside of the swing arm.

Re: tutoro chain oiler?
put mine in the same place today, as a matter of interest how many turns do you open it???
and also have you had any trouble with the nozzle thing coming away from your sprocket?? i have the twin nozzle and when i took it out for a run this afternoon it come away from the sprocket a put oil all over my tyre!!! i checked it all and made sure it was all secure which it was, put it back onto the sprocket and since then it has stayed in place, but it doesn't fill me with confidence. |

Re: tutoro chain oiler?
Mine has never come off the sprocket, and I only open it 1 1/4 turns, with it at the reccomended drip rate (1-2 drops per minuite) it flung oil everywhere, at my setting it keeps fling to a minimum and the rollers always look wet.
To make the pipe more rigid you could feed it through a length of snug fitting copper pipe then bend to shape and attatch securely to the swing arm... I havent bothered. |

Re: tutoro chain oiler?
Just found this thread because I have been lucky enough to get my filthy hands on a new design Turoro oiler. All a bit secretive at the moment, but what I can tell you is that this new design is really clever, I just need my bike back now so that I can fit it.
Currently, I have the standard Tutoro fitted to my Sylvie and I have been really happy with this one, but this new unit looks the business and does not need to be turned on and off all the time. Anyway, if any of you are looking for a new oiler and don't want to play around with bike electrics and vacuum systems, then check them out, I can see why they have won awards. Go and check them out, well worth trying. http://www.tutorochainoiler.com |

I'm just about to fit a replacement version to mine. Don't know if mine is the latest but the changes are:

Re: tutoro chain oiler?
I like the simplistic idea of these but just know I'd forget to turn it off and would end up with a puddle of oil under the bike... If, as the Rev Jane tells us, they have a new one on the way that does not need me to remember I will defo be interested. Keep us posted Jane.
