Default SV wrists

Stuart was telling me today that his old sv had a problem. His mate at the garage told him that folk who have tested it said it was very snatchy and sore on the wrists. One guy who tested it has had sv's before and said the same thing so one of the mechanics decided to have a look at it. Apparently the throttle positioning sensor wasn't seated properly faulty and the throttle body was a tad "loose". And I've been winding him up all this time about being limp wristed

I can understand that resulting in the bike being "snatchy" but how does it reflect on the position of the grips? He will still be "Limp wristed" so perhaps you were right in the first place

Sounds like a lot of these "folk" have poor throttle and clutch control, any twin or single has snatch(is it not "instant go"? )..... just takes a little more learning(therefore more satisfying) than having a bike with a car engine in it

Sounds to me like his bike had something wrong with it though. (Even though he is a limp wristed Honda owner and Rangers fan).

Stuartboy, did you ever try anybody elses machine?

Anyway you'd do well to have worse throttle and clutch control than me and my wrists are fine

Stuartyboy here: Can't remember my ******* login so borrowed mike's.

I'll feckin limp wristed ye!!! Feckin shoddy suzuki build quality more like!!!! TPS seated squint and TB loose.
Yes I tried other SVs (but never a curvy) and I still had the problem with my wrists - scientifically backed by my physio's camcorder. I asked for the footage but I'm feckin sure I'm not posting it up here for you lot to look at.

At the end of the day my SV and me were not meant to be and that is as say is a wrap.

EDIT: Just thought...I could have fun with mike's login for calling me limp wristed! Think I'll edit his sig tee hee hee

You were in the bloody pub with Ralph! Sounds like a pretty good Sunday night to me.

Anyway, good to hear from you Stuartyboy, do you have many gay mates? And more importantly, how's your Dad?

Good to hear from you mate!

Did we not all say there was something wrong with it? Should've got a carbed one You're spot on with the wrists though, if you find a bike that doesn't fit you you can either blow cash to make it fit, or you can do the sensible thing and find one that does. When I had the GSXR bars on the SV it was neither one thing or t'other, neither sitty up or stretchy out, could be very uncomfortable- but I've tried higher and lower bars and both suit me fine, it's just the middly position that killed me. I hear Suzuki's looking to reengineer all their riders in future
