Formula 1 Belfast City Centre
Heres a video of the clips i took last nite with david coulthard driving one of last years red bull F1 cars up and down infront of belfast city hall
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVfudv3uAL4 Didnt get the car out of 2nd gear, but it still got to 150mph, could only come out for a few mins at a go before having to go and cool as it wasnt able to drive fast enough to cool itself, exhausts wer at 1000 degrees and the end of the first run, fantastic sound! |

Wicked, there's something similar coming to Liverpool soon as well:

Having been behind an F1 car when it fired up (as in about 1m behind) +1 on the awesome.

Re: Formula 1 Belfast City Centre
looks far better organised than when they did the same thing in london a few years ago. That was a shambles! I spent over an hour on the bike to make what is normally a 20min journey, could find nowhere at all to leave the bike, not even my usual illegal places were free, then to top it off as i reluctantly decided to sack it and go home the bike overheats and conks out
But still if you never been near an F1 car for real you gotta go and hear them, no recording does it justice!

Re: Formula 1 Belfast City Centre
yeh it was handled extremely well, there wasnt any traffic jams going or leaving, strange as there was 18,000 people there supposably, but again its amazing that something good came to northern ireland :O lol
