Ah the joys of the online triage. I had to run that gauntlet on Monday to request a PSA blood test, using my dad's passing from prostate cancer a year ago as leverage. I got the OK to call reception and book, after 2pm for routine appointments and blood test requests, except in a leap year, or when a fox is spotted dancing a tango with a badger any time before Whitson.... I called only to get a message saying the surgery was closed for staff training. You cannot make this stuff up.
I do hope you get better soon Gary.

They called me back to offer me an appointment at Four Crosses 8 miles away. I had to point out that I currently can't even get into a car, much less drive one. I now have to wait until Friday. Bollox.

Took advantage of a lull in the relentless rain to make a start on pressure washing my driveway today. Was making slow but steady progress when the turbo nozzle decided to stop working. The fan nozzle takes five times longer and misses bits, so it looks like I'll be shopping for Karcher parts. Again.

Tried to send my son some money in my banking app and it looks like they have set my send limit to £0. Tried to change it and they want biometric face and voice recognition. They can fuk right off with that one as its guaranteed to mess completly up. Its bad enough that i have to use my fingerprint which should be enough.
Think I'll go back to cash..... |

Got to agree with you there Bibster. I am fed up of being asked "have you got our app?" NO! You may think it's easier but I do not want everything to revolve around my phone - it's easy to lose and I'd panic about a thief having access to my entire identity, cash, pension, browser history, I mean, er....
I will stick to online banking thanks. And ringing the surgery instead of usin an NHS app, even if it does take longer!
