Default F*#@$%G bolts

Is it just me, or are the bolts on the SV completely S**T. I've gone through 3 in the last 24 hours!!! One of them was when I was undoing it.

So heres the question where can I buy new bolts .... can you buy them off the shelf or do they need to be ordered at stupid suzuki prices?

Chewy22's your first stop, he does a stainless replacement kit for both SVs which is top notch... And I got a big mixed bag of stainless bolts off Ebay a while back which is dead handy too.

err, ebay had a few kits rolling round, lowest I saw was 6 beer tokens Buy it Now, other 'more respectable' kits were around 14.

Pers'nally the only bolts on the SV I've ever had problems with were the ones in the carbs, and the anodised ones I fitted myself

Don't forget stainless bolts will be as soft or more soft than the originals.

As far as I can tell, A4 stainless is just marine grade stainless. This stainless is very soft.

a2 is more or less standard stainless a4 is next one up which takes it up to just below the tensile strength of 8.8 which is what we sell as a standard high tensile
