Here we go.
My son bought his first DSLR after Christmas. He is fascinated by night photography. So the first with the new camera was...  ...and the second...  Which prompted me to join in...  I'm now banned by the wife. |

These are just boring photos that document my journey today. Walking on the Moon Finally today the surface of the planet warmed up after subfreezing temps we've had since before Christmas. -20 the other night but a balmy 11 degrees (C) this afternoon so I donned my 1 legged sweatpants and moon boot (what Americans call a huge boot held on by velcro straps they give you when you are injured) along with a light jacket and headed out onto the planet. My first mission over uneven terrain with the Lunar Rover but we managed to make it safely out to the sheds. To the sheds and beyond! Despite markings on the Rover I made it back on the same day. [IMG]  [/IMG]Not only made it out to the sheds but fired up the SV and the quadbike and let them run for about 20 mins. to charge the batteries which was the ultimate mission today. Even managed to hobble a few feet away for a pic.  Safely back aboard the mothership now. (aka: in the house) "That's one small step for mankind and one giant leap for some old cripple git! "

Ha ha! Bill your accompanying commentary to the pics really made me chuckle. Glad to see you are able to remain good humoured about it all. Get well in time for spring and some warmer riding!
