[QUOTE=kaivalagi;2980072]...and worked in GSBS in SS2 if that means anything....[QUOTE]

St Stephens tower 2. Spent a summer as a temp in there, writing out direct debit mandates which was mind numbingly boring but got me enough money to buy my first bike. Also did 2 summers at NUAM in Wintethur House (sp?), and one in a tiny office near the train station. All in the days before most clerical tasks were moved to Sheffield and before they became Aviva.

I may have even met you, I often visited that little office to sort out network routing for services etc, worked on group auth service for eISA at that time...this was just before the Cgnu transition

I was in SS2 from May to November 1998. Contracted to be a designer of DB2 databases (NU was mostly DL1 at the time). In July and August 2000 I was on a contract in Perth after the CGNU merger changing laser printer templates.

You can use the freephone number on 0800 4080797 or call each hotel direct on the local line. If you can't find a listing for it just go to this site.

Parents who insist in parking directly outside schools where there is a no parking restriction, because they can't be arsed to park a bit further away & walk their little darlings the 200 metres to the school gates.

being told my youngest wont get any funding for collage till around Christmas so that's £90 a week i have to find till he does get his funding. i can see hard times ahead and my little nest egg disappearing before my eyes.

should have wore a condom or put the pill in the missus T, in fact come to think of it i should have just stayed single.

Although I do drive my little darling to school most days, I park round the corner and walk the final bit

I found it most amusing when your colleagues were dishing out penalty notices to the parents who flouted the signage & yellow lines. The best one was the 7 series BMW driver who got most irate after being given a ticket

Today's classic was a mother who parked on the single yellow line, just outside the zig zag lines of the Pelican crossing, who then proceed to get her newbrn baby out of its baby seat on the offside of the car, endangering not only herself but her newborn. She could have parked in a quiet side street 20 metres away, but no.
