I thought the study decreased pretty much all casualties? Whats lycraman on about with more bikes killing cyclists than cars?

 If he was even minutely clued up on 'figures' as the CTC man was wittering about he could have shot him down with reason and won the debate. Instead he kept shouting him down like a petulant kid. All he has done reinforce the 'all bikers are aggressive hoodlums' sterotype. Why didn't they have someone from MAG or similar on? PRATT!

I think the real issue here is Ken sitting on the report which would put the figures into the public domain. So, the accusation is he is doing it for political and not good road safety reasons

Agreed Tim and a Freedom of Information Act request to get that info in public domain would be in order I think. Why has Boris or one of his cohorts not done this? And WTF does Steve Berry (alleged motoring journalist) not know about this, seems to be common knowledge amongst bike chat rooms.
