Default My new bike : Fugly or Rolling Art?

Just swapped my R Nine T for this 2018 Husqvarna 701 Vitpilen.

First of all you need to tackle the looks. It’s not like anything else and definitely not for everyone.

Personally I love the design and, the more I look at it, the more little details I see.

It seems well put together with a few blingy components and a quick shifter which works really well. The motor pulls like a train and the bike handles well. Feels really light and chuckable. A bit of a hooligan.

The Vitpilen comes with clip ons but the previous owner has changed the top yoke to fit regular bars. It’s still a lean forward position though so the original must have felt quite extreme.

Tank is tiny and range is less than 90 miles. Not too much of a problem as you’ll want to get off the brick of a seat by then anyway! But it’s not a tourer so who cares?

I don't mind the looks. Very Scandinavian. Looks a fun ride.

Looks like top quality. Not keen on the tank though...
