amazon prime is a con. i just ordered something and it arrived in 2 days without prime. whats another day

ok granted if you are a 'consumer goods junkie' and use amazon a lot then it would pay for itself with the free delivery but if not then its a waste of £5.99 a month or £79 a year. after the free month your signed up for a year, then you forget about it and dont cancel so they keep taking the cash from your account with auto renewal. the mate got caught out with that one.

amazon TV is shizz as is the free prime films.

Got given a months free membership because I complained about the poor service.

That is my gripe of the day!

You paid for a service that they failed to deliver on, so they don't give your money back but just give you an extension to your subscription thereby tying you in for longer.
If I said the mobile phone company were rubbish and failed I wouldn't be happy if their response was to extend my contract even if it were for free.

You paid for a service. They didn't give you the service. They still took your money.

The least they should offer is money back for this month having not done what they said and give next month free as a gesture to help retain your custom.

Am I old fashioned?

Just seen this, thanks for the link Swin.
Currently it has a temporary repair, my last temp repair lasted 4500 miles!
Now that I have the Abba wheel package I did consider getting the tyre off and putting in a plug myself. Haven't got round to it yet as the tyre is holding air. Even if I'm not sticking to 40mph.

Just out of interest fellow Orgers. This is my 3rd or 4th nail in 6 years.
Am I just lucky or is this the norm?
