Continental Motion
Anybody fitted these? Any feedback on them?
I have done a search on here but connot see any reviews of them. I currently have BT021's but they are at silly prices to replace.

Re: Continental Motion
Thanks for the replies. Don't look like anybody has tried them. Will give them a go and see how they fare. !!

Re: Continental Motion
Good morning.
I've supplied several sets of Conti Motions to a variety of bikes, & the general feedback was that they're very good, especially when one takes the price into account. Cheers. |

Re: Continental Motion
"Very good" in what way? Sorry Spanner man but this type of blind, annonymous, unquantified "reccomendation" is one of my pet peeves.
What was the experience level of those that said they were "very good". What else had they tried? What pressures were they running? Had they tried them in the wet, dry and damp? How do they ride? What do they weigh? was this two up or solo? How many miles covered? Wear rates? Until we even have an idea of any of the above "very good" means absolutely nothing. Sorry to go on but I have to counter this on my own (fishing) forum all the time. These tyres are pitched below Road Attacks on the Conti web site with no claims of 12% larger footprint, Black Chilli rubber mix or Dynamic Footprint technology. If fact, in marketing terms its about as subdued a description as I've ever read, so I'd be very surprised if they were as "good" as the road attacks. Good morning all. For those of you who misunderstand English Very good means exactly that! I took into account each customers bit of feedback, i.e. They grip well in the wet for a sports tyre, they feel secure immediately after fitting, their grip in the dry was excellent & so on....The only thing that remains to be seen is how long they last. Perhaps I should have been a little more specific in my earlier post, unfortunately I assumed that most people would get the gist of what I said. (Most probably did) Cheers. |

Re: Continental Motion
Well I bit the bullet and got a pair today.
First impressions on riding home was that the bike was very keen (almost too keen) to tip over on the corners but that may be down to me being so used to my squared off tyres. Need to take it for a gentle scrub in run before I can get back on it and start giving some sensible feedback.

Gave me as much issues as the Avon Storms did(or didn't) Cheaper, provided as much grip and lasted longer to boot. Thread design was errr designed to give good mileage...must have taken tips off the makers of the Z6 I won't go into all the other technical bits as I think, they are mostly good for Pub talk lol . Cheers Ben |
