Fork oil air gap
I'm changing my fork oil tomorrow on a k5 pointy faired.
The air gap should be 94mm. Is this with my emulators in or out? I think I did it with the emulators out last time |

Re: Fork oil air gap
The racetech instructions say the air gap should be 130mm, I'll email them to you if you want.

Re: Fork oil air gap
that's a bit of a differance from the standard settings
I'm glad I asked It's been a year or two since I fitted them & I've forgot the measurement. Is that with the emulators out? |

Re: Fork oil air gap
it's with springs, spacer, and emulators out with the fork leg compressed, or about 400mm of oil in each leg.

Re: Fork oil air gap
Had an e-mail today from PDQ that says 130mm with emulators in,
so that is what I've done, seems fine at the moment but I'll have to wait untill the tyres are scrubbed in |
