First weekend meet of 2009, Sun 25th Jan, Ponderosa ?

I believe (according to my son) that there`s nothing like soaking up the atmosphere watching a live Liverpool game in the pub. Plus it`s the derby so I would imagine can`t be missed and it wouldn`t be the same watching it after you know the result

i would be up for this weather permitting.... if its still happening.

Kick off is 4pm, so **might** be able to ping over to the Ponderosa, snaffle a bacon buttie and scoot back home for 2.30-3pm and then go straight to the match!

Exactly, however I managed to get a ticket this morning so I'm hoping to be able to a) get over to the Ponderosa with Nobbylass to meet you all/eat food, b) get home in time to get to the match and c) carry on drinking in the evening celebrating a victory for my team!

Well its about an hour from warrington, so I ill be heading back no later than 2.45, saying that a lot depends on the weather, apparently theres a cold snap heading this way again, we may have to tweak the venue nearer the time.

What about those of us that are "hopefully but depends on various things" ?

I don`t think you can count the maybe`s so can`t see the point of having that option in a poll.

What if you have the situation where 1 person says they`re going and there`s 4 "maybe`s". None of the 4 "maybe`s" turn up cos they were, afterall, only a "maybe" and the 1 person going ends up on their own!
