Apparently tickets were from £50something, but yes ours were £72, average for the venue it seems. I quite like the hydro, will be our third gig there. They have added a second date now. Don't think I can stretch to two nights lol.

After reading this thread all I can say is, Thank God I grew up in the 70's!
With bands the likes of Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton , AC/DC just to name a few.
I may be old but I got to see all the cool bands.

Two gigs in 2 nights over the weekend at the Brudenell in Leeds, a truly wonderful little venue. On Friday, I went to see the Icicle Works. I've seen Ian McNabb solo a few times (quality usually depends on how sober he is!) but never with a band. They were great; played for one hour 15 mins, took a break and then came back and played for another 90 minutes. And they were LOUD! My ears only started working properly late Fiday afternoon.
Here's a short clip of 'Understanding Jane' for anyone that's interested

On Saturday, and still going strong and thrashing, the Wedding Present. I just love the guitar sound.... https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resi...nt=video%2cmp4

Nice and close, even though I wasn't in the pit.

Bloomin freezing and wet, but still a good show, with the first airing of my all time favourite live songs 'Because the Night'

Friday night Coventry, lets hope its a little bit warmer, although I'm in the stand with all my tribe, which is a first

It's Bruce time again in Coventry, and a first for my 18 year old daughter who I've converted. Took 18 years
