Wolfmother tonight @ HMV forum. Gig was ok, far too big a venue for'em though!

Ohhh I just been to a couple...
Boo Hewardine in Llangollen RAFA  He was really good and covered some of his songs that Eddie Reader had hits with. He did a brilliant cover of ELO's 'Can't Get it Out of My Head', so different it took me the rest of the evening to pin down where I had heard it before.Followed that up with a trip to Manchester Academy to see Bedouin Soundclash, who I had not heard of for a few years after they had a split. They were totally awesome, real buzz in the venue and I loved their new stuff. Tuesday last I went to see k d lang at the Bridgewater Hall. I have always liked her music but live she is amazing! What a voice! Several stand out moments in the show, but her rendition of Leonard Cohen's 'Halelujah' was spine tingling. Looks like John Melancamp is next on the list....
