Default Christmas Gathering

So folks, even though it's months away, if we want to have a get together we better organise it soon.

After me and Dave's cosy little dinner for two last year (i.e. no one else turned up!) my first question is:-

IS anyone interested in a get together around Christmas?

UPDATE! There is interest in a Christmas Gathering, so poll added to vote for either booking somewhere or meeting at a Border Patroller's house.

Yep, but it's shift dependent for me. There is no chance of having time off betweeen now and Xmas.

How about, instead of a meal out, we have a winter BBQ or similar at someone's house, donations for food expected.

Pete

That would be novel Pete, but who would be so naive to offer to host?

This would still be totally dependant on numbers and folks committing though, can you imagine having enough salad for 20 and 2 turn up? So we are back to looking if folks actually want a get together this Christmas.

Yep i`d be up for a xmas do and either a meal somewhere or a b-b-q sounds great. I only work one out of four weekends now and it`ll be far easier to get a swap if needs be
