Can you only contact people if you have an account?
Just that I am researching an artist [deceased] and I noticed his great nephew has put up a comment about his work and I would like to speak to him about something. |

Yes you need an account, we had some music at our wedding which we contacted the artist direct through Youtube but needed to sign up.

Takes 2 minutes to get an account and more importantly I recieve no spam from them (which is my main concern about putting my email address anywhere).
