Default Pointy juddering and cutting out.

Right rode the 650 K9 for the first time in a few months (well 8 months) yesterday and from pull away just juddered a few times then cut out. Even getting it up to 3rd or 4th gear still done the same. Only had to die it a few miles and come back again. Made it but very uncomfortable in doing it. Felt like fuel starvation. Both slow or fast just the same.

Now I'm thinking it could be the clutch plates possibly. Not fuel as I put four litres in it a few days ago.

Anyone got any ideas?

Water in tank? Guessing you topped up the 4 litres rather then putting them in a dry tank?

no it had about a litre in there before I put more in there. Terminals all connected as they should be. Charged the it Wednesday last week and all starts without any issues. Only when its in gear and moving does it cause problem.

Sidestand switch or clutch switch would be my guess. Bypass both as a first diagnosis. Possibly tilt switch?
Either way its running fine at standstill, so its probably going to one of those items causing an issue.
