Default indecater wires

does it matter if u mix the indecater wires up ....they work fine ....or did untill my battery went flat

Unless you put LEDs as they have to be wired one way only.

LEDs are diodes and only flow electricity one way under normal circumstances.

Wrong way round mate. AC powered devices don't care, DC devices sometimes care...But lamps of any description don't care. Exciting stuff eh?

As mentioned though, LED indicators need to wired correctly or they simply won't work.
