Removing restriction
So I've finally passed the two year mark and have days off work. I wanted to remove it myself to save a bit of money. The bike is a 2001 sv650s and the papers from FI international states it has blades fitted in the inlet manifold. I was just wondering; is it as easy as just removing these blades and fitting it back together or is there something else that I should be aware of? Thanks

Re: Removing restriction
lift the tank, remove the airbox, lift the carbs and you will see the plates sat between the carbs and the engine inlet.
this is all i had to do when i restricted my sons, that too was an f1 kit if i remember rightly. |

Re: Removing restriction
Good morning.
As Geoffrey says it's pretty simple to do. Take your time, & just make sure you don't drop anything down the inlets whilst you have the carbs off. Cheers. |

Re: Removing restriction
There are some words you might wish to use when you discover the simplicity of the restriction kit.
Such words I can't post on here you will feel cheated, thats for sure! |
