Re: What you riding and why!!??
K9 SV650 great bike does all I want it to do. Not too sporty but enough to get my knee down when I want to. And a GSX1400 its the Bandit on steroids big fun, comfy, and will go on and on for ever at a steady 80mph at 3,500rpm. Much better than screaming of most other ILF

All that said I will be selling her at the end of the season and plan to buy a Street Triple R. I've ridden three of them recently and they are absolutely brilliant. A lot more expensive than an SV but you get what you pay for. Btw, what budget do you have for a bike and what do you intend to use it for?

Re: What you riding and why!!??
If I had £2500 and a nice SRAD 600 to px I'd buy a used std., low mileage Triumph Street Triple for £3800-£4200 depending on the value of the SRAD. That's me though. Of course the Triumph is naked and on those longer runs from Portsmouth to Liverpool a fairing would be very nice.

Re: What you riding and why!!??
I ride a Street R because its as close as you get to a sport bike but with all day comfort. The handling at faster pace is better than the standard bike IMHO. (Don't look at my moaning thread) I changed to it from the Gixer because I was riding way too quick.
Best things. Oh that triple engine does it for me. I do miss the top end lunacy of the Gixer sometimes. But its a great all round bike that does everything I need. Worst things theres no storage so I have to use a tank bag at all times, the lock on the steering is awful and I've developed a bad habit of spinning the bike round on the side stand. Which is actually starting to wear away. All in though she's my perfect bike and I wouldn't change her for anything thats on the market right now.
