Last night driving fairly quickly on a narrow A road out of Norwich when I hit standing water. I have 4 wheel drive and my tyres are fairly new but I aquaplaned across the road into the other lane towards a thick hedge and trees. Serious adrenaline moment.

Every flippin time I watch 24hrs in A+E there is a bike crash and the inevitable scaremongering like non bikers know the dangers of riding more than we do.

Being let down when you agree to buy something and organise time for pickup only for them to sell it to someone else. A message saying they're sorry for doing a crap thing doesnt really cut it. Just do the right thing.

Snot. Have still got the remnants of my Abelio Greater Anglia cold from ten days ago and I'm blighted with a dry cough and streaming nose (sorry, not a nice thought I know). Trying to sleep without drowning in the stuff is driving me mad. Hopefully I've got the right number of pillows in the "ramp" under my head and upper body for tonight as I have an interview tomorrow and would like to be awake for it!

M11 rush hour traffic, followed by A416. All to go get something from a customer, who yesterday said someone would be there from 6.30. I got there 7.25. Waited till 8.06. NO-ONE was there. Tossers.
Followed by more rush hour traffic round the A416 and up the A10.

Glad I don't have to do that **** everyday.

One of them days, how can an egr valve I removed 3 weeks ago refuse to come off the engine today?

No matter how much I tapped it with a bloody great hammer & punch, I was gentle at first, just using a rubber mallet, but it wouldn't budge
