Pit stops on A9?
Hey all!
Looking for advice on pit stops from the Burgh to Inverness. Heading up the A9 on Thurs, first long run so wonderng where's good or to be avoided?? Would appreciate recommendations. Ta |

Usual stop for me is either of the cafes at Ballinluig. My excuse is you have to slow down for the 50mph camera there anyway. Further on up there is Dalwhinnie.

Edradour, next to pitlochry, smallest distillery in scotland, free tour and a wee nip to warm you up, just the one mind they have a tasting bar but it also sells coffee, cant beat the smell of a warm mash tun to stir the blood.

Cheers for the advise. Off to buy my winter gloves as my hands were like blocks of ice last night and that was only on short trip. Light weight here!
