i've just cleaned my leather jacket using screwfix no nonsense degreaser (40/60 mix). worked a fekin treat. i think its the first time i have ever cleaned the jacket.

to bring back suppleness the best thing you can treat leather with is plain old hand cream preferably containing lanolin or if you can get it use pure lanolin.

leather care is all down to making sure that the product you use does not interact with the top coating winch is plain old PVC. yup thats right your leather jacket has a top coat of pvc.

Nice one.I've been using Screwfix and Toolstation quite a bit.Since Maplins went down I had to find another local source for Switch cleaner and Toolstation do one even cheaper than Maplins or Halfrauds @ 2.99.

BTW brake cleaner is only good for removing storage film from discs. otherwise its shizz at actually removing crud like pad dust.
