quick question
just been asked as a biker....
is there such restriction on bikers observing leaners bikers as there is with cars. ie you have to have held you licence for 3 years and/or be aged over 21 before you can take a learner out on their own. I don't think there is as it not a common method. Do you lot know any better?

You must be a qualified instructor to take out a learner on a > 125cc machine.
similar you must be CBT qualified in order to take out non CBT holders as part of their CBT course. Beyond that there are no restrictions on you riding with learners. however, they have removed the old ability for a licence holder to be a pillion on the back of a learner. Now a learner can only carry themselves

IIRC, you have to be in radio contact with the learner also.

Get the person to do their CBT, then take them out and help them that way. This way, your not totaly obliged to look after them if they make a stupid, stupid mistake / get caught speeding / etc
