Default Textile trousers tuck in or leave outside the boots ?

Just wondering..
I have got leathers with knee sliders and they are designed to be tucked inside my boots, just wondering How should textiles be worn.

most are designed to keep your feet dry by zipping over your boots Tony.

Guy at work has his tucked in. I can't get my boot zipped up if I were to do that.

Definitely over. otherwise water would run into your boots. and it is no fun riding with 2 pints of rain water held inside waterproof boots.

Like Stig I would not be able to fasten my boots with textiles tucked in. It is hard enough with leathers. If I feel the cold and put on a second pair of socks, struggle time.

I rarely wear textiles being a weekend warrior power ranger type. Bike has not been out of the garage since October and therefore far naturally suited to leather. But I have once caught the textiles on the foot peg and it was a tad worrying. until the relief of a tearing sound as I extricated my leg from the peg.

I don't own a set of leathers, just textiles and have never tucked them in.

I've never even though about the whole catching on the footpeg.... No doubt it will happen now!!

+1, textiles outside, leathers inside for me, it just makes sense.
