Removing stator cover?
Hi there,
Would like to remove,clean up & spray the stator cover on my K5! How much aggro is this going be & what (if any) surprises am I likely to discover? Many thanks Matty |

Shouldn't be a problem mate, A little tough to get off due to the magentism. And you'll need a gasket.
Make sure you don't get paint on the stator. |

You might be lucky with the gasket, however it's very doubtful and probably best to replace anyway.

Also, Try and put it on a paddock stand when you do it
I don't know about the SV but on my GS oil came out unless on a center (or paddock) Stand. |
