Ah, here in lies your problem. You fool, Jon You can always have it shipped to me, the materials department here now know to contact me as soon as any bike part arrives - I think I've had almost a whole bike delivered here over the past year! Not that I'd hold it to ransome of course

Zorst is on it's way. For some reason my payment got rejected so there has been a delay in getting it sent through.

Am going to invest in some HID lights next. Will get them from the US as my gf is going there before xmas.

Change your sprokets/gearing....


(edited: this really is better for track only bike, reducing the front sprocket and increasing the rear by a tooth. Phenominal acceleration.. hehe

Guess if you're planning on keeping the cbr forever'n ever, n'ever you could always consider getting some venturer shield to prevent those stone chips. works a treat, just bit costly)

What colour/frequency HID lights did you get and what do you think. I think that I will most likely go for 4300k.

I got 6000k as they are the whitest and brightest of the lights. Above that they become blueish and not as bright, below that there a bit yellowy and again not as bright.

I used them the other night and they are awesome, especially dipped beam. The high beam wasn't as good as I thought it would be, maybe due to the bike reflectors not being a good enough design but its still better then it was originally. They were a bit of hassle to fit as I had to make a bracket to hold the ballasts to hide them in the fairing so I would recommend getting a kit with slim ballasts, and the bike wiring wasn't 'man' enough to take the extra current (unlike my cars wiring which was fine) so I had to run new cables from the battery up to relays which I hid in the nose fairing. As your bike just has one light as main and one as dipped, a kit for yours would be a lot simpler and you might be able to run it through your standard wiring. Next club meet I'll come down on my bike and you can have a look.
