Windows 10 KB4056892
Has anyone installed (or had installed automatically) this Windows update:
KB4056892 on an AMD processor, Win10 PC? It's supposed to fix the meltdown bug but apparently if you're running an older AMD processor it may "brick" your PC. I'm running an old AMD Athlon x2 270 CPU so I'm trying to stop Win10 automatic updates, a process which Microsoft have made a lot more difficult recently. |

Microsoft have pulled this update for now so you should be safe.
They'll work some more on it before they re release it. |
