RAF Northolt Airfield Riding Day.

Just found out what the course is.....

Not the best in the world unfortunately, but better than nothing and its a left hander course.

As far as I know its got 4 left handers and maybe a slight sweeping right hander.

A bit boring I know but as I said, better than nothing. At least it gives people a chance to do the chicken strips on the left of the tyre.

Anyway, have a great day all those who are attending and stay shiny side up.

Well thank you for flagging this Tony, that was a brilliant day.

Plenty of room on track, a lovely lunch time curry (with 2nds, and in some cases 3rds!) Pool table and tea while the waiting for the planes to finish using our start/finish straight.

OK, so we spent a fair bit of time waiting about for aircraft, and those that did it last year reckoned that this year's circuit wasn't quite as good, but that was due to building works where the other circuit was. The day was a whole lot of fun put on by people who have volunteered to do it, for a very reasonable sum of money.

Bargin, sign me up for next year!

Yes was the perfect way to spend a sunny Sunday - great to have a blast around with you lot. Cheers to the nice friendly org'ers and of course the the RAF boys for arranging the whole day.
