Hmm let me have a think about the scanner, I have nothing that can do negs and my old Canoscan is getting hard to use because of drivers.

Wait until you get your new laptop and put windows 10 on it.
Backwards compatability and drivers becomes more of a pain.

Got a Fujica GA coming to complement the GER. Think I have a GE somewhere. Let me know, only risk is the glass. No idea who to send it with though. I've got a lens stripped down but no idea how to get it back together though.

I think I had it running with Win 7 drivers or in compatibility mode without issue. It was the 8000f that was always a pain. Picked up a Lowepro Zoom 50 AW case from the reuse shop at the tip for £2 to put my D3200 in. Previous case had a bust zip.

How is everyone then? Bit quiet in here. Picked up a Braun Paxette ii rangefinder tonight. In good nick, lenses are interchangeable and the rangefinder is uncoupled. Slower speeds are stick but ok on faster speeds.

Busy elsewhere! Missed out on an ebay for a Kiev 2a which looked good and went for a song. Am hankering after one like I don't have enough cameras. They seem to go for about £50 or so compared to the model 4 which is about £20 and has a meter. Not in a rush though, and way cheaper than a real Contax. Apparently the later Kievs were pretty badly made, I'm not sure if that means unreliable or they suffered the same problem as the original Zeiss in that many of them (up to a third) didn't work from the factory.

The EOS650 turned up today. I'll very pleased with it. Great condition and has the optional gr20 grip on it.

Nice looking bit of kit. May have to add one to the collection! My GA arrived today, had batteries in but they are dead. Takes x2 1.35v mercury batteries so I designed and printed some adapters to take 2x LR44 in one chamber and packed foil in the other. Will need to adjust for the 0.3v extra the new batteries provide.

I've just bid on an EOS600. Very similar to the 650. Had one of those too. I can't help myself
