Default Curvy front carb fuel coming out off overflow pipe

Think I might of had a bit of dirt on my fuel as I've had issues with my curvy not starting, miss firing and but now it's just the front carb has loads off fuel coming out the over flow pipe. Rides fine as I took it for a test ride and when I stopped loads of fuel came out the pipe. I'm going to have a look at the float height and see if anything is blocked. Anyone have any other tips?

Float valve letting by, caused by - in no particular order:

1. Obstruction/dirt/rust particles from tank etc etc on needle/seat interface
2. Damaged needle and/or seat
3. Stuck needle
4. Stuck float
5. Punctured float

Number 1. is likely the favourite, but any of the above will cause the problem. With fuel weeing everywhere it can be hard to be certain where it's coming from, so make sure before removing the carbs for what may be no reason.

I had a very similar problem with an old YZ125 crosser, it seemed like a float problem so i dismantled my carb to check but the float was moving freely, then a friend suggested checking the jet, which as it turned out was very grubby... Cleaning it up seemed to solve the problem.
