Default Blue 650S on an 04 plate at the Ponderosa - anyone from here?

I got to the Ponderosa about 9:30 this morning, and there was a tidy blue 650S on an 04 plate, Renthal high bars and Fuel can. Didn't see the rider, was it anyone from here?

It's also two consecutive weekends I've seen the camera van trying to hide itself on the A525 about half a mile from the traffic lights where the B5430 crosses.

Sneaky b*ggers, it's an arrow-straight run west from the lights down the hill, and the van positions itself just out of sight and 50 yards ahead of the delimit sign (of course, the whole road used to be NSL, it's now 40mph from the lights and the NSL sign is mysteriously positioned half a mile from the lights. A cynic would say it's a deliberate trap). I gave 'em a nice wave as I passed

It's for our own safety... I avoid this area for that very reason.

Oddly, the camera van hasn't been in that spot the last two Sundays, which is unusual as they've both been sunny and great biking weather.

It was bloody great yesterday, A534 to Wrexham, then Coedpoeth - Corwen - Betys-y-Coed - Blaenau - Porthmadog - Criccieth. Some of the best roads in the country and hardly any traffic.

The problem was getting to Wales in the first place, road closures in Holmes Chapel and Nantwich with lengthy diversion routes
