Maximo Moto
Hi All,
I’ve been getting advertisements from this company on Facebook. They ads always have a sale on. At the minute it’s a flat 70% off all items in stock. Some items are really cheap. Before I purchase does anyone know anything about the quality of products for sale here? I’m dubious as if the stuff was any good would they really be off loading it at the prices they are? Re: Maximo Moto
large discounts like that are usually a last minuet attempt to save a company from going bust.. beware. they are also in spain so your buyers rights are out the window and you also have to pay vat and import.... welcome to brexit....

Re: Maximo Moto
Thanks, while it’s a Spanish company the link I’ve got is from its uk subsidiary. They have stated no refunds in t & c’s for the large discounts however exchanges would be fine. It’s obviously a huge push to off load inventory and I agree it’s not a good sign either.

Re: Maximo Moto
Regardless of price, check the EN safety standards of what you're buying. Any Motorcycle gear which offers protection, will go through a test to determine the level of safety protection it offers (A - AAA rating).
Most prices with high level of discounts are because the initially high, and the 'discount code' brings it down to the market pricing (similar to what Euro Car Parts does). Don't get sucked into thinking it's a good deal. |

Interestingly, the jeans they're selling says:

Re: Maximo Moto
I believe that is true. If the Jeans are not tested, they can't be labelled as protection gear, or imply they provide protection.

Re: Maximo Moto
I decided to give it a miss. I’ve jumped too many times for cheap crap in the past. No point in doing it again.
