Re: Building a intake with a single mechanical TB from the 60's
Looks really good, I'm liking the tank shape now, kind of reminds me of the Suzuki goose tank.
Reverse cone megaphone is pure café too. Don't know how much of a faff it would be to incorporate but have you considered fitting a nice traditional steel tube 'old stylee' twin shock swing arm? That would really be the 'icing on the cake' Nice job. |

Been making a pattern for the inside shape for the new tank, also pick up some shield gas for the job.

Re: Building a intake with a single mechanical TB from the 60's
I was working out fuel capacity and a conservative estimate is about 12-13 litres.
I can live with that but I hope it's a bit more when all done. |

Still welding the tank but for my birthday the family are chipping to buy a cafe racer style fairing.
This is the one I have chosen. |

Re: Building a intake with a single mechanical TB from the 60's
Been replacing the duct tape sides on the tank so I have more idea how it's going to look blending the Honda NSR tank to the SV frame shape. I think is going well and will look really unique.

Bit of a tangent, but what's the red car tucked away in the background of some of the pics Alex?
